{"id":3120,"date":"2023-01-04T10:56:25","date_gmt":"2023-01-04T09:56:25","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sciberras.legal\/?p=3120"},"modified":"2024-01-31T12:26:07","modified_gmt":"2024-01-31T11:26:07","slug":"notice-to-appellants","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sciberras.legal\/zh\/2023\/01\/04\/notice-to-appellants\/","title":{"rendered":"Notice to Appellants"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Notification date: January 2023<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">When we submit an appeal application on your behalf, our engagement with you terminates as soon as the application is lodged, and an application reference is received.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Application reference will be in a format similar as follows:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>For Single Permit Appeal:<\/strong> IAB\/SP\/1234\/2023<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>For VISA Refusal Appeal:<\/strong>&nbsp;IAB\/VISA\/1234\/23<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>For IPAT Appeal: <\/strong>IPAT1234<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you would like to check the status of your application, you are requested to send an email as follows:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>For Single Permit Appeal:<\/strong> <a href=\"mailto:immigrationappealsboard@gov.mt\">immigrationappealsboard@gov.mt<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>For VISA Refusal Appeal: <\/strong><a href=\"mailto:visa.appeals@gov.mt\">visa.appeals@gov.mt<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>For IPAT Appeal:<\/strong> <a href=\"mailto:ipat@gov.mt\">ipat@gov.mt<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Or you can personally visit the Appeals offices on Monday\/Tuesday\/Thursday\/Friday between 8am and 12pm, at the following location:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">15, 1st Floor, City Gates Building,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ordinance Street,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Valletta, VLT 1020<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">(Directions: on top of Burger King, first floor to the right)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Typically appeals take between 6 months to 1 year to get a result, the reason is that the appeal needs to be sent to all the respective stakeholders for their comments after which they are passed on to the Board for their final decision. It is important that you personally go to the Board at least every two months so that you renew your interest in the appeal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you would like the office to request an update on your behalf there is a fee chargeable for every update.
